Work completed on business portal for Baton Rouge based environmental consulting firm. New system allows field technicians to enter billable time from any site using internet connected cell
phones. The new systems is based on open source technology using Ruby on Rails for code
development and MySQL database system, saving the client thousands in licensing fees. Client
also saves by eliminating paper forms and redundant work performed when employees had to
fill out paper forms and fax them in to the central office.
